The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends limiting your intake of added sugars to no more than 1/2 of your daily discretionary calories allowance.
Women: About 6 teaspoons of sugar (up to 100 calories) Men: About 9 teaspoons (about 150 calories)
Better ones: blue agave, honey, sugar on the raw Remember: they all have the same caloric amount! My preferred Substitutes: Stevia, Truvia The rest: Equal, Splenda, Saccharine- some have been banned in Europe, others affect brain health or gut bacterial balance.
TAKE ACTION... LOWER YOUR ADDED SUGAR AMOUNTS BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!
